Terms of Use

Draft. Have this reviewed by a lawyer before public launch.

What SattvaMind is

SattvaMind is a free tool for reading the Bhagavad Gita, counting jap, and following a guided breathing pacer. It is offered for reflection, relaxation and daily practice. It is not medical advice, psychological treatment, or a substitute for professional or religious guidance. If you are in distress, call Tele-MANAS at 14416 (India) or emergency services at 112.

Breathing and relaxation exercises

The breathing patterns on this site are general wellness practices, not a treatment for any condition. Stop immediately if you feel dizzy, light-headed, or unwell, and consult a doctor before trying breath-holding exercises if you have a heart, lung, or anxiety-related condition.

Content sources

The Gita verses, Sanskrit text, and translations are drawn from named, public, open sources — we do not claim authorship of the scripture or its translations. See About & Sources for full credit. If you believe any content here is misattributed or used wrongly, contact us (below) and we will correct or remove it.

Your data

There is no account system. Your jap count, mantra choice, and streak are stored only in your own browser’s local storage — we never receive them. Clearing your browser data, using a different browser or device, or using private/incognito mode will reset this local progress. See Privacy for details.

No warranty

SattvaMind is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We try to keep the content accurate, but we don’t guarantee it is error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. Use it at your own discretion.

Changes

These terms, and the site itself, may change as SattvaMind develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
